What do I need to apply?

To be eligible for this course, you should normally have:

  • A UK honours degree or equivalent in any subject at 2:2 or above. If your degree is in psychology it must not be accredited by the BPS.
  • A Third Class UK honours degree or equivalent in psychology if you also possess a master’s level degree.
  • If you don’t hold the above qualifications, you will need to evidence independent research e.g. an undergraduate or postgraduate final year project dissertation or thesis.
  • A maths qualification or equivalent to at least Grade C at GCSE, or the completion of our assessment-free module before starting your course.
  • For students whose prior learning was not taught in English: IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element); or TOEFL iBT 90; or equivalent.
